So we decided to go to Egypt. This is really the trip of a lifetime that we are lucky enough to be able to take as a family. We were all pretty excited about this trip and a little worried. It was 14 days of immersion in Egyptian culture, lots of walking, punctuated by bouts of traveler's diarhea. The difference in language, culture and standards of living (not to mention standards of travel) wass the worrisome part. It's that combination of emotions that made this one of the most exciting adventures we've taken.
